One more day of being pregnant!!!!

Well, tomorrow is my last day to be pregnant unless Nathanial decides to come tonight!I am ready to go- 5:30 am at MOBAP -7:30 c-section scheduled for Thursday morning. We are so excited and can't wait to see his sweet little face. It's amazing, but even though this is our 6th baby, I feel as excited as if it were the first. Every baby is such a miracle from God. I will post pics sometime this weekend while I am in the hospital recovering. I am guessing that he will weigh in at 8.5 pounds, which would make him the biggest baby so far. I just feel huge right now. I had a dream a few weeks ago that he weighed 14 pounds. I sure hope THAT does not come true!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So, I am signing off until after baby blastoff is complete!! Please pray for a safe delivery and that I have sweet nurses! Thanks.

Almost there!!

Well, two weeks left until our little Nathaniel makes his arrival into the world. (unless he comes sooner). We are so excited and ready for this little guy to get here. It's been so fun to share this pregnancy with a whole group of friends from church. Lindsay, I wish you were here too so we can share in your joy with your first pregnancy!!! It has been so fun to share stories and compare our growing bellies as we approach our due dates. I have missed my other pregnancy buddy Shelly this time too, who is still down in Dallas on bedrest. I can't wait until we can all get that picture with all of our new babies together!!! I am so thankful for the friends that God has placed in my life at this stage of my life- pregnant and non-pregnant!!!!
Andrew is very excited about his new brother, and has asked if he can be the first one to hold Nathan when they come up to the hospital. I am praying that they will have that special bond that only brothers can share. I am so thankful that God has blessed us with a little brother for him. It should be a really special moment!!!
We have all the rooms switched around and ready, nursery set up and painted, spare room ready for grandma and grandpa..... so now I can just relax these last few weeks and wait patiently. Ha.
This has been such a cold and snowy winter, the thought of spring coming soon is so inviting. I can't belive that we only have maybe a month or so of cold winter left yet. The thought of spring and warmer weather sounds so inviting!!
Please pray for a safe delivery for our baby, and for a smooth transition for the rest of the kids- especially Hannah, who has been the baby now for the past 3 years. This will be quite an adjustment for the baby to become the big sister, but it will be very good for her. She continues to make big strides in becoming a big girl. She is doing so good with school, the potty, and learning first time obedience. She is still struggling some with her temper. She tends to be the loudest in the family right now, I think to try to be heard above the other kids. We are working on learning patience and quiet voices. She can be very willful at times, but she is a sweetie, and loves to cuddle at night and have "girl talks" as she calls it in bed before she goes to sleep. She comes up with such cute and interesting little questions! I am treasuring these special little moments, because they are gone so quickly. Before you know it they are finishing 8th grade and will be starting high school! (Olivia)wow- where has the time gone!
Well, that is enough rambling on.... I am a bit hormonal and extra sentimental these days.
God is good, all the time. All the time, God is good.

Happy New Year!!!

Wow, I can't believe how quickly the holidays went by. It's all kind of a blur. We had a wonderful Christmas with Mark's brother and kids and his mom and dad here. They all arrived on Christmas day. It was so nice to have a white Christmas as well. The kids loved the snow!! And we have already had 2 snow days this new year! The kids got some good sledding in our the hill at the end of our street.
Christmas Eve we did not make it to church because Mark was not feeling well. We stayed home, read the Christmas story around the fire in our pajamas, and then watched "It's a Wonderful Life". What a special night we had even though Mark was using the Sinu-cleanse every 4 hours.
We have so much to be thankful for as we get into this new year.God has blessed Mark's business over the past year with growth, and we pray that He will continue to provide new clients for him this year as well. We have had a bit of a rough time with sickness with Elizabeth this winter, but we are grateful that He continues to heal her as He teaches us to trust Him in all things. She has been on breathing treatments and inhalers pretty much since Thanksgiving. She is such a little trooper and is most of the time a very joyful little girl even though she has not felt well for a good part of this winter.
I am 8 weeks away from delivering our new baby boy- who is officially going to be named Nathanial James Thom! (The kids have all been calling him baby Nathan)He is very active- I think he will be a soccer player by the kicks he gives me at times!
I am set for a c-section on March 12th- and I am sure that will be here before we know it. I am feeling rather huge these days and not sleeping very well. I guess that is the way God prepares new moms for being up every 2-3 hours to feed their newborns.
